I have been buried with piles of papers in the past few days.  As I hear from my tax accountant that the deadline for filing tax return is March 1, I  am in the rush of sorting items for revenue, expenses etc. etc.  This task is complicated this year as many seminars and workshops in the first half of the year 2020 were canceled and/or postponed, which made it difficult for me to review activities as I usually do at the end of the year.  In addition, losing my dad in the middle of Covid-19 made me take care of variety of things such as moving out of his senior residence etc. I have been so pressed for time and did not even do seasons’s greetings.

Now that I have to meet the deadline in less than a week, I set out to sort receipts etc.   This year as I used credit card much more often than before (we are getting into the cashless society finally), It was harder to identify the items. (it took a while for me to download all the statements as everything is now on web!)

I have been working on it for at lest three days solid, with the advice of my tax accountant.  I am hoping that I will be almost finished  by tomorrow so that I can send all the documents to the tax accountant tomorrow. (It is good tomorrow is off day and I have a bit of breathing space)  Now I began to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
